Wetpour Playground
Surfacing

Safe, Durable, Vibrant, Versatile.

Wetpour rubber surfacing is a safe, durable playground surface made from granulated rubber crumb, ideal for areas with play equipment. Installed as a one or two-layered system, wetpour provides reliable impact absorption, meeting stringent safety standards, including Critical Fall Height, flammability, indentation, and abrasion resistance.

Our expert installation teams specialise in custom wetpour designs, allowing us to replicate any design, logo, or pattern to create unique and visually engaging playgrounds. With our high-quality wetpour rubber surfacing, you get a long-lasting, low-maintenance solution that enhances both safety and aesthetics.

Wetpour is most often installed onto a prepared hard surface, such as stone (MOT) or macadam. The sub-base should be dry, level and compact all over, and any deviations should be such that when a 3m long straight edge is placed in any position on the surface, the gap between the straight edge and the surface shall at no point be greater than +/-6mm.

What is EPDM?

EPDM stands for Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (synthetic rubber).

The top layer of the wetpour (wearing course) is laid to a minimum of 15mm. If play equipment is present, a CFH (critical fall height) is measured and the base course is adjusted depending on the amount of impact absorbing protection that is needed.

All rubber is sourced from the UK and western Europe only. This ensures that our products comply with safety standards and are non-toxic.

We recommend a minimum of 24 hours, especially during winter months when the binder could take longer to cure.

We recommend pre-cast concrete or rubber edges are installed to ensure that the contraction and expansion of rubber, due to temperature changes in the weather, does not cause gaps between the edge and the surface.

Wetpour can be installed onto steps, as long as there is an edge for it to be installed up to.
